Samtan's pipe clamps and hangers support piping runs from 1/4 inch to 16 inch IPS, approved for both hot and cold systems aboard ship.
Samtan pipe clamps are constructed using mild steel, stainless steel, inconel or aluminum and are available in several configurations with a variety of finishes. The stainless, inconel and aluminum clamps are typically available plain; while the steel clamps are typically available plain, hot-dip galvanized, or painted with a weldable zinc chromate primer. Special finishes, such as heat-resistant coatings and epoxy coatings, are available per customer request.

Pipe Clamps

Figure I — Clip-Type Pipe Clamp
The clip-type pipe clamp is Samtan's most common configuration, holding pipe securely to structure. Neoprene or fiberglass liners are available to protect the pipe surface.
Figure II — Clip-Type Clamp, Extended Leg
This clip-type clamp adds an extended support leg, built to a custom length for mounting points set back from the pipe run, with the same liner options as the standard clamp.
Figure III — Welded Single-Leg Clamp
A single welded leg, fabricated to the installation's specified length, gives this clamp a fixed, high-strength mounting point for runs that need a rigid attachment.
Figure IV — Formed Double-Leg Clamp
The formed double-leg clamp spreads load across two mounting points and is likewise available with a custom leg length and a neoprene or fiberglass liner.

pipe Clamp Halves (often referred to as split pipe clamps or half-clamps) are heavy-duty, high-precision structural components used to secure, support, and isolate critical piping systems throughout a vessel.

Rubber Block Pipe Hanger
The rubber block hanger cushions the pipe run at each support point. This features mild steel bars (or channels, depending on pipe size) sandwiching neoprene hanger blocks and are typically available with plain, hot dip galvanized, or painted bars.
Steel Block Pipe Hanger
The steel block hanger provides an all-steel support point for runs where a rigid, non-cushioned mount is preferred. This features mild steel hanger blocks surrounding neoprene pipe bushings and are available with plain, hot dip galvanized, or painted blocks.
